KLCC education fair

The latest education fair was held in KLCC. It was held on the 8th and 9th January.. All the lecturers, the marketing team and the student ambassadors was supposed to be there at 10am.. Student ambassadors help out with the iPad contest, some helping out with the lanyard, some with the creative IACT pen.. This year's IACT booth has a whole new design.. First, it's much more bigger. Second, the top big IACT box can spin.. And last but not least, we have a new design of t-shirts which is all red. The marketing team hired guys and girls model to walk around the fair. Everybody was stationed in different places.. We, student ambassadors are separated into two different groups. One is the counsellors group, the other one is the cap spotters. Why were they called as cap spotters? Well, let me tell you why? This is because their job is to spot people who are wearing caps and the lanyard.. If people wears it, the cap spotters will give stamps on the lanyard.. And the more you submit, the bigger the chances for you to win an Ipad.. It's a very easy contest but based on luck. The education fair started at 11am.. Sharp 11am, only few people walking at the fair.. We student ambassadors just stood there waiting for the wild crowd. But when time passes, more and more people were there. Especially at the iPad contest counter, it was packed with people. A lot of people noticed our booth by our IACT caps.. Some people came to our booth just to get free caps. Our chairman helped us with it. He asked us to give out free caps to the visitors and wear it ourselves too. Basically, the first few hours were the BOMB.. Because everyone was so tired of standing.. The counsellors are all tired of standing in the same spot. But the cap spotters are tired of walking around.. We really hope that we could take turns with the stamping and counselled. But we were not allowed to. Break time was the best time ever. Everyone got 45 minutes break. It was the beat time ever. After break time, back to work. On Saturday, there were not a lot of people compared on Sunday. Anyway, education fair ended at 7pm. It was a tiring day for everyone but we learned and experience a lot of thing.

Let the pictures do the talking.

A Fresh Start

Despite entering into mid January, I'd still want to wish you all a Happy New Year!
The Red Step had started out back in 2010 and we were still not more than a growing infant.
There's still many things that required changes and plenty of room for growth.

We, representing the part and parcel of IACT College would like to re-commit ourselves to The Red Step, and more importantly, to you.

My apologies for our lack of enthusiasm in blogging.
Perhaps, you would have some great suggestions or tips for The Red Step?
Apart from our post, maybe you would like us to feature your writings, poetry, critiques, or even artworks?

Do not hesitate to let us know by dropping your concerns at iactsa@yahoo.com
